EF: Elijah Fa’afiu

SV: Sam Verlinden

ZN: Zane Nathan

1) 2017 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

EF: Braun Strowman is really the only option to win here. I would also consider maybe Sami Zayn or The Big Show, who is set to take part in his final Wrestlemania. However, I bet Show would be more than willing to put over Strowman as the next dominant big man in the WWE.

SV: Look mate, has to be the boy Braun. Maybe a hint of Sami Zayn but imma go with Brauno.

ZN: I think Braun Strowman wins considering the events between himself and Big Show on Monday Night Raw. This would be a great way to transition from the old to the new by showing that Strowman is indeed the new “big man” of the WWE. Another reason why Strowman takes the win is due to his confrontations with the Deadman, The Undertaker. I think WWE is slowly trying to build Strowman as a new Taker, so why not allow him to be undefeated on the Grandest Stage of them all. However, that was the case for Bray Wyatt who’s often compared with the Undertaker but he was buried in his first Mania against John Cena and then to Taker himself in his second match. The only other possibility is a returning Finn Balor to be a surprise entry in the match and win, but having said that I doubt WWE would want him on the pre-show.

2) Neville (c) vs Austin Aries for the WWE Crusierweight Championship

EF: This match has the potential to steal the show, despite it being on the pre-show. Fans weren’t happy with the decision to move this match from the main card to the pre-show, but we should enjoy an exciting match-up nonetheless. It’s great having Austin Aries finally competing on the main roster as it gives Neville a viable threat to his Crusierweight championship. However, the King of the Crusierweights has done a brilliant job building up the division and after Mania, he should remain the face of 205 Live.

SV: Love Austin Aries, love his theme song. But ah yeah, Neville will retain.

ZN: This can go both ways. I think the build up for this match has been pretty good and I’m not sure why WWE would want to place it in the pre-show considering the division was suffering with boredom until Neville returned and turned heel in the process. Neville’s gimmick as the “King of the Cruiserweights” has given me an interest to watch the division and his character is very similar to the King Barrett gimmick of Wade Barrett. Having said that Austin Aries has been built strong as the hero of the story and I’d like to see him knock Neville off his high horse.

3) Alexa Bliss (c) vs Becky Lynch vs Natalya vs Mickie James vs Carmella (w/ James Ellsworth) vs Naomi in a Six Pack Challenge for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

EF: Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss at the Elimination Chamber PPV for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, however a knee injury forced her to relinquish the title. I expected Naomi to return on the night of Wrestlemania as a surprise entrant, but coming back on the go-home show to Wrestlemania isn’t bad either. If this match does indeed kick off Wrestlemania, I expect Naomi to reclaim her championship in her home town of Orlando, Florida, getting fans hyped up for the rest of the show.

SV: Yeah Becky probably

ZN: I think Alexa Bliss will retain. I think she’s getting a push which was very similar to AJ Lee. At Wrestlemania 30, Lee was put in a six pack challenge, the same predicament that Bliss is in currently. Lee of course won and carried on her then record-breaking Divas Title run. I think the same could be done for Alexa at Wrestlemania 33 as the odds are clearly staked against her.

4) The Club (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs Enzo & Cass vs Cesaro & Sheamus in a Triple Threat Ladder Match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships

EF: I had no interest in this match until they added the ladder stipulation. Enzo & Cass may finally get their moment to shine on the biggest stage of them all, but I feel The Club need to continue looking dominant as tag team champs.

SV: Ah keep the Club looking good bookers! Do love a bit of Cesaro and Sheamus though, cool customers indeed, but yeah the Club.

ZN: I’m going to go with the wildcard, Enzo and Big Cass. The duo have been very popular since their time in NXT and their main roster debut. They’ve always come oh so close to winning the gold but not close enough. Therefore, I think it’ll be a impactful win for the pair to get gold at Mania. However, the news of ladders suddenly being introduced to this match on the recent Raw gives me a suspicion or maybe a….” Pre-mo-netion” that a certain “Broken” legendary tag team who could make their WWE return at Mania and continue their quest for gold by winning the WWE RAW Tag Team titles. This is of course the Broken Hardys who are currently signed to Ring of Honor but it’s reported that this is a short term contract despite them holding the ROH Tag Titles. Expect the Hardys to drop the titles back to the Young Bucks at the ROH Supercard which is the night before Wrestlemania, this would make this prediction very likely.

5) Dean Ambrose (c) vs Baron Corbin for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

EF: Ambrose vs Corbin has had a nice build-up, but I’d love to see the Lone Wolf claim the IC title. If you an example of great booking, look at the rise of Baron Corbin over the past year. Last year, he made his main roster debut by winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and this year, he gets another big victory, defeating Ambrose. A new streak building here perhaps? Another reason why Corbin should win is because of the terrible job he’s done as Intercontinental champ. All the hard work Miz has done making the title relevant and prestigious again has come undone thanks to the Lunatic Fringe. Giving Corbin the belt creates a new star and a new start for the IC championship.

SV: Ambrose just isn’t even crazy aye. I think Corbin will take the lazy strap here.

ZN:  Baron Corbin is the favorite to win his match against Dean Ambrose and capture his first title in the WWE and what a way to start by taking the prestigious Intercontinental Championship. I don’t see the WWE giving the win to Ambrose considering that they have built Corbin as the new bad-ass of the company, a younger version of Undertaker or Brock Lesnar. Either way I don’t see him losing when the bell rings at Mania.

6) John Cena and Nikki Bella vs The Miz and Maryse in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

EF: Basically, it’s a case of The Miz/Maryse should win, but Cena/Nikki will win instead. Cena is almost unstoppable at Wrestlemania and I don’t see this status quo changing. This match has probably had the best build-up out of all the matches on the card, with Miz/Maryse putting on some of the best heel work in a long time. If this is set to be Nikki’s last match as rumored, expect her and Big Match John to win as a nice send-off. And no, there will be no marriage proposal.

SV: Yeah thanks John we get it you’re gonna win. This has been a good feud though actually tbh. Have enjoyed the segments and promos have been rad.

ZN: Despite The Miz and Maryse’s incredible mic skills and parody work of E! network’s Total Bellas, the highly rumored victor is the team of Nikki and John Cena. Although it would make much more sense to put over The Miz and Maryse considering the pair has done an excellent job as the heel couple of the blue brand and the fact that Cena and Bella are set to take time off wrestling post-Mania, the latter are still set to win. Not only are Cena and Bella going to win but they are about to become the modern day versions of the “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Many years ago, during the Golden Era of WWE, Savage proposed to Miss Elizabeth and the couple got married in a WWE ring. This has never been done since, but not until now, when John Cena is expected to be holding onto a ring post-match to propose to Nikki.

7) Chris Jericho (c) vs Kevin Owens for the WWE United States Championship

EF: An example of excellent story-telling with this feud. With Jericho set to take some time off wrestling in a month, I think KO defeats Jericho at Mania, before putting him away for good at the next RAW PPV.

SV: Ah it pains the soul but I’m gonna say that Kevy Boy Owens wins the title here. Love this feud, love the story, love Y2J – should be a cracker!

ZN: This match should’ve been the main event of Wrestlemania to be honest. The relationship between Y2J and KO has been the only reason that I’ve tuned in to watch Raw other than the new face-turned Seth Rollins. Kevin Owens turning on Chris Jericho should’ve been for the Universal Title instead of the United States Title as this feud seems like a Past vs Present feud. Jericho is a future Hall of Famer and is set to leave soon for work with his rock band Fozzy. Hence it’s only fitting that Jericho puts Owens over and lets Owens win the US Title.

8) Bayley (c) vs Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship

EF: I’m in two minds about this. Either Sasha turns on Bayley at Mania, handing Charlotte the victory and the belt, or Bayley retains, last eliminating Sasha, and then Sasha does the full heel turn the night after Mania. I’m going with my gut here and saying the latter.

SV: Yeah Charlotte

ZN:  I predict that Sasha Banks takes the win. Through storyline Charlotte has hinted several times to the champion Bayley that Banks will turn on her. This would be an unexpected turn of events and it’ll be interesting to see a heel Sasha Banks as champion.

9) Shane McMahon vs AJ Styles

EF: AJ will win, but looking forward to seeing Shane-O-Mac jump off that rollercoaster.

SV: Looking forward to Shaney flying high again this year as he loves doing. AJ Styles will get the W but should be candy for the eye.

ZN: AJ Styles should win this one. There’s no good reason for Shane McMahon to get the win. Considering he will just carry on his commissioner duties while Styles on the other hand is rumored to be a new mainstay on Monday Night Raw eventually.

10) Seth Rollins vs Triple H in a Non-Sanctioned Match

EF: This shouldn’t be the feud-settler, so I think WWE surprises some and gives Hunter Hearst Helmsley the win. I’d say Joe interferes, leading to a Rollins/Joe feud that they were meant to have at Fastlane, before Rollins settles his rivalry with Triple H at Summerslam.

SV: I can’t genuinely see the feud ending here however, I’m gonna go with my gut and say Seth gets the win but gets a fasi after the match.

ZN: The clear winner of this would be Seth Rollins. This feud is between student and teacher. Pedigree versus Pedigree. A true passing of the torch. Triple H would definitely put over Rollins since he’s regarded as the new version of The Game.

11) The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns

EF: Not sure how to feel about this one. The Undertaker has done so much for the WWE and I think that he puts over Roman Reigns in one of his final matches in the company. However, the only way Reigns wins here is if he turns heel. I think WWE will finally pull the trigger.

SV: If Reigns wins I expect boos to rob the rest of Wrestlemania of everything. I’m gonna say Taker here, but knowing WWE I could be wrong.

ZN: This is rumored to be Taker’s final match and if not, one of his last matches. I’d like to say that Undertaker wins the match, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Reigns gets the win. I think if WWE is trying to make Reigns a face the worse they can do is to let Reigns win. At best, Reigns should lose but look strong as well.

12) Bray Wyatt (c) vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship

EF: I wanted this match to be the main event until they did all that voodoo stuff again smh. Hoping RKO puts over Bray and gives him that Wrestlemania moment he’s so desperately deserves.

SV: Am hoping Bray boy retains here! Would be a nice end to a decent card!

ZN:  Bray Wyatt deserves the win. Randy Orton has won gold before while Wyatt has waited for years from his Husky Harris days to now and has only been champion for less than a few months it would be very unethical to end Wyatt’s reign short.

13) Goldberg (c) vs Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) for the WWE Universal Championship

EF: With Goldberg’s contract running out, expect Lesnar to finally conquer his fears and defeat the jacked-up 50-year-old at Mania. Lesnar is expected to win the title and hold onto it until Summerslam, but then again, Goldberg could sign on for a few more matches and keep his belt.

SV: Lesnar.

ZN: Lesnar is expected to defeat Goldberg for the first time and win his first Universal Title. Lesnar has been defeated by Goldberg twice and was destroyed in both matches at Wrestlemania 20 and Survivor Series 2016. Especially in the second match, where Lesnar lost as if he was a jobber.
